Unlike other oils that are derived from the popular hexane solvent-based extraction process, Nexcel Natural Ingredients Nexsoy® EP "trans-fat-free" soybean oils are "expeller-pressed" and "physically-refined" without the use of chemical solvents and refining caustics. Recent independent laboratory testing has shown that this unique extraction and refining process gives Nexsoy® EP oils stability equal to or better than partially-hydrogenated soybean oil without unhealthy trans-fats from hydrogenation and with significantly better flavor scores.
